Casshern SINS is fabulous.

It is simply great. To begin with I started watching this because a friend wanted to make a fansub, which was going to translate this series. Naturally we translated about three episodes and after that we got lazy and dropped everything and the uber organization disappeared (I'm obviously lying, we couldn't even say we were a organization, the staff was formed by two members, one of them was me and I didn't do anything but watch). Resuming with the shit this is supposed to talk about, after watching the first episode I thought it was going to be an average-bad anime, but I couldn't drop it. Why? The main character has the same voice actor than Seiya, and the director is the one that directed Saint Seiya, it would be an offense to drop something this guy is doing. Furthermore, Casshern SINS is actually airing, to watch an episode per week isn't a big sacrifice.

Basically, our main character is a powerful robot that killed Luna, which caused the ruin to begin, this guy is called Casshern. Every episode was just a random encounter that our boy had with random people/robots, and honestly, it didn't look like advancing with the plot. I even thought about dropping this after watching 3~4 episodes, just because it was boring, though it was an airing show, I just used to download the last release and watch it days later. But then, suddenly one chapter became epic, we got some action and the plot started to develop, with this I'm saying that the unlimited mysteries started to be unveiled. Plus we got a cliff-hanger at the end of the episode: "God damn I got to watch the next episode." And then, when I watched the next one, I could tell that it had potential to be an epic series, just because when they start with the serious business, it becomes a really enjoyable show, though it may become bad again since it hasn't even been airing for two months.

Now, starting with the little details I'd like to write about:

The character stuff is rather simple, we got to see only one main character, and many secondary guys that seem to be related to Casshern, maybe we gonna get to see more mains, but actually the story is fully centered on our powerful super-robot. Apparently he has lost his memory and knows nothing about himself, through this idea they make our main guy a complete mystery (so if you are a dumb guy who hates mysteries, don't even give a chance to this).

The art is REALLY similar to Saint Seiya, which is great. In fact, our main guy, beside having the same voice that Seiya, is physically similar to him. Any Saint Seiya's fan would instantly notice this. When we got to action, the animation becomes really good in my opinion, it is really well done.

But anyway, look, they are the same (For fags: on the left Casshern, on the right Seiya):

Some details you should know, is that this series states the past (because everything happening here is on a future ruined world) as a mystery. Ironically, this wouldn't be like this if you have already watched the series that this franchise has already released (a.k.a. Neo Human Casshern and Casshan: Robot Hunter). It isn't like you got to watch this prequels before watching this, 'cause they intend to reboot this series with this new anime. Personally I didn't know that there were other shows handling the same story with the same main character, but actually I think that few people watching this watched the related series. So, two things, if you start watching this try not to investigate through the web, because you may get spoiled even if the series is still airing (obviously, by reading spoilers of the previous series). The second thing is pretty obvious, don't start watching the alternative versions, just because there is no need to, and you may end spending hours searching a website to download it.

tl;dr: Casshern is fabulous, it starts being a little boring, but the srsbsns it has is epic.

P.S.: I still don't know why I'm writing things that no more than two or three persons in the world will read. Plus I'm pretty sure this post could be qualified as English fail.

Azumanga Daioh is crap.

Well honestly I don't know why the hell I started watching this show. I'm pretty sure I began with this because of the famous Osaka kicking the shoe scene, plus one of this series character has the same seiyuu than Tomoyo. So maybe it was O.K. to give this a try. Furthermore, this is rather popular and is good scored on some anime websites.

However, after watching two episodes of this I could say only one thing: "This is over-rated stuff, and there are lots, REALLY LOTS of faggots out there." Seriously, I couldn't believe that this was high-ranked and well-known in many sites. It isn't like I didn't know that the Internet is filled with fags everywhere, but come on, this is worse than most shounens. It doesn't even hold a plot, and it is supposed to be a comedy while I didn't laugh even once during the first five episodes I've already watched. Genre fail.

Going even deeper into this, there's always a need from any watcher to find a really cool character to watch, leaving apart if it is funny/fabulous/strong. With just watching the first chapters I could already say: There's nothing like that. Every main character is just irritating, we got a retarded girl, a genius type one, the one who thinks she's great, a little genius, and two teachers who are both average characters. Even their voices are awful, though some of them have good voice actors.

Then, THE OPENING IS ANNOYING, even me who uses to like every opening/ending, from j-pop to death metal, this is just impossible to explain, I listened to the full song once during the first episode, then skipped it 'cause I got nervous from hearing it. About the ending, it's fine.

Then we got the animation of this, it is just bad. It has some details that make you say "this is meant to make you laugh", but you can easily see that it is a complete failure. The try to use the art of the series to make it funnier, but anyway they end up repeating the same jokes four times per chapter. Like the cat biting the girl who loves animals, I don't remember her name, during the episode number five that was shown about 3 times (I'm not certain if it was really 3, maybe 4).

Anyway, I'll keep watching this until I reach the epic scene where Osaka kicks hers shoe, and because I got lots of free time.

tl;dr: There is no point watching this show. Everything is average (being generous), and it is highly over-rated.
